It was a nice surprise to have a visit from Mrs. Trahan this week. She got a tour of our little Vikings all swimming together towards success. 🐠📚❤️🖤❤️

The first week of school was a great success. We had special visitors and fire and ice treats for all. It was a great week to be a little Viking. ❤️🖤❤️🎒✏️

We had a great first day of Pre K, learning how to move safely around our school!

The Pugh Family Foundation helped us celebrate our new cool bookworm vending machine!

We Are All Different but at JW Faulk we all swam together this morning to welcome our Lil’ Vikings on their first day of school. Special thanks to our Cafe Champion, Mrs. Dessie Ledet, a respected member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority, Mrs. Maxine Hamilton, and the lovely ladies of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority incorporated, Epsilon Beta, Alasca Wilson,Taylor Young, Joy Young, Leah Notto, and Taylor Auzout.

First day jitters in first grade? No worries Mrs. Bernard’s first graders had time to meet new friends and catch up with old friends while drinking jitter juice. 🥳

Our Faulk family wishes all of our students and families a warm welcome and this year will be a great year because we all swim together in the sea!
