๐ฌ Every conversation is an opportunity to make a positive impression.
Communication is one of the most valuable skills students can developโnot just in the classroom, but in every career. Whether it's asking questions, working with teammates, or speaking with customers, strong communication builds confidence and trust.

Beginning this school year, Indiana's new state law requires schools to implement updated policies regarding student personal electronic devices. Please review GLCA's policy with your student before the first day of school.

Every career starts with one simple habit: showing up.
Attendance isn't just about being in classโit's about building the reliability and work ethic employers look for every day.
As we count down to the first day of school, we're sharing Career Ready habits that help students prepare for success in the classroom and beyond.

๐จ The countdown begins!
In just 14 days, the halls of GLCA will be filled with students ready to learn, lead, and take the next step toward their future.
Being Career Ready is about more than mastering technical skills. It's about showing up, communicating well, working as a team, taking initiative, and demonstrating professionalism every day. These are the skills employers valueโand the habits that build successful careers.
This year, we're challenging every student to master the basics and build their future.

We are incredibly proud of our students and grateful for a community that continues to support career and technical education.
Thank you for an incredible season. We look forward to welcoming you back in 2027. โค๏ธ

Community connections. Real insight.
Our Criminal Justice students recently visited Community Corrections for an inside look at the programs, services, and professionals working to support accountability and rehabilitation within our community.
Students toured the facility and met with Director Kory George to learn more about careers and responsibilities within the field.
Thank you to Community Corrections for the opportunity and experience!
