🇺🇸 A Flag Worth Caring For 🇺🇸

Our American flag at Firm Foundation Academy is MASSIVE—60 feet long! 🇺🇸

When it became time to take it down for repairs, it was no small task. It took all of our students working together to carefully move and handle this incredible flag so it could be properly mended, cared for, and respected.

There was something special about watching our students work together with such care. They weren’t simply moving a flag—they were learning what it means to honor something bigger than themselves. ❤️🤍💙

With teamwork, respect, and determination, our students helped make sure our flag received the care it deserved. And now, it is back in its rightful place, proudly displayed at the front of our school, right beside our chapel where it belongs. 🙏🇺🇸

What a beautiful picture of the values we strive to instill in our students: faith, service, respect, responsibility, and excellence.

We are so proud of our students and staff for showing that when we work together, we can accomplish great things—and do it with joyful hearts!

“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord.” — Colossians 3:23 ✨

🔥💰 Learning Beyond the Classroom! 💰🔥

The past few weeks have been busy at Firm Foundation Academy, and our students had the opportunity to learn some incredibly valuable real-world skills!

🔥 Fire Safety & Hands-On Learning

Our students learned about fire extinguisher safety, participated in a small demonstration, and then had the opportunity to put their knowledge into action by safely extinguishing a fire using a fire extinguisher right here at school!

There’s something powerful about learning by doing. These hands-on experiences help our students build confidence, understand responsibility, and know what to do when it matters.

💰 Financial Literacy

We also welcomed a member from Ladysmith Federal Savings and Loan who spent time with our students discussing the importance of financial responsibility. Students learned about making wise financial choices and the responsibilities that come with managing money.

At Firm Foundation Academy, we believe education goes far beyond textbooks. We want our students to be equipped with the knowledge, confidence, and wisdom they need to lead well, serve others, and thrive in the real world.

We are grateful for the community members who invest their time and experience into our students and help make learning come alive! ❤️

“If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God, who gives generously to all without reproach.” — James 1:5 🙏

🍪 Something Delicious Is Baking at Firm Foundation Academy! 🍪

Our students at Firm Foundation Academy have been busy in the kitchen perfecting their cookie-making art! 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳🍪

Over the past few weeks, they’ve been mixing, measuring, baking, tasting, tweaking, and trying all sorts of different recipes in search of that just-right chocolate chip cookie. They’ve been putting in the work to create a cookie they can truly be proud of—and let’s just say, they’ve been doing some serious work to tickle those taste buds! 😋

From golden edges and soft, ooey-gooey centers to plenty of delicious chocolate chips, our students are getting closer and closer to creating a cookie that is simply too good to keep to ourselves!

Here are some flour-tastic glimpses of the cookie-making adventures happening in our kitchen. 📸🍪

And now for the teaser…

🎉🍪 THESE OOEY, GOOEY, & DELICIOUS COOKIES ARE COMING YOUR WAY SOON! 🍪🎉

Stay tuned for your opportunity to get your hands on some of the ooey, gooey, delicious chocolate chip cookies our students have been working so hard to perfect.

We may be learning in the kitchen—but we think our community is going to really enjoy the homework! 😉🍪

🍎🌳 Good Trees Bear Good Fruit! 🌳🍎

Last week, our students had the sweetest kind of field trip! 🍎 Our students traveled to a local organic apple orchard in Holcombe, Wisconsin, where they got to experience firsthand where some of our food comes from and what it takes to grow healthy, good fruit.

Students learned how healthy trees produce good fruit and discovered the importance of caring for what we’ve been given. They also learned how apples provide valuable nutrients for our bodies—and, of course, they got plenty of hands-on experience picking apples right from the tree! 🍎

But the fun doesn’t stop at the orchard! Our students will be bringing their harvest back to our industrial kitchen, where they’ll put those apples to good use and create some delicious sweet treats. 👩‍🍳👨‍🍳🍎

We love opportunities like this where learning happens outside the classroom, in God’s creation, and through hands-on experiences that connect our students to everyday life.

Jesus reminds us in Matthew 7:17, “Every good tree bears good fruit.” 🌳❤️

We’re grateful for our local community, our students’ curiosity, and the opportunity to watch them grow—rooted in faith and bearing good fruit!

🌲💚🦅 CELEBRATING OUR BOARD OF DIRECTORS 🦅💚🌲

In Recognition of Wisconsin School Board Week | October 4–10, 2026

This week, we pause with grateful hearts to celebrate and honor the Firm Foundation Academy Board of Directors.

While Wisconsin School Board Week recognizes the important work of school boards across our state, we are taking this opportunity to honor the men and women who serve our school community through our Board of Directors—those who have faithfully helped lay the foundation of Firm Foundation Academy.

Our inaugural year is something we will always remember—not simply because it was our first year of operation, but because it was the year a group of people said yes to God’s calling.

Before there was a classroom filled with students, before the first school day, before we could see exactly what God was going to do, there was faith.

There was prayer.
There was obedience.
There was a willingness to step forward.
And there was a belief that when God calls us to build, He will be faithful to lead the way.

“Unless the LORD builds the house, they labor in vain who build it.” — Psalm 127:1

Our Board of Directors has carried the responsibility of helping lay the foundation of Firm Foundation Academy—not just as a school, but as a Christ-centered community built upon faith, purpose, excellence, and love.

Our mission is to nourish, cultivate, equip, and affirm students in the development of their God-given potential, creating an environment of excellence, responsibility, and compassion.

Our vision is even bigger:

To see Biblically focused students and graduates enter society prepared to lead communities, families, and businesses with confidence, integrity, and skill.

That vision begins with the foundation being laid today.

🌲 A foundation rooted in Christ.
💚 A community committed to excellence.
🦅 A calling to equip students to lead with purpose and soar into their God-given potential.

To our Board of Directors—

Thank you for following God’s calling.

Thank you for having the courage to say yes before you knew every step that would come next.

Thank you for praying over this school, seeking wisdom, making difficult decisions, giving your time, and carrying the responsibility of helping build something that we pray will impact generations to come.

Your service is an investment in children you may not always see in the boardroom.

It is an investment in the student who will discover their God-given gifts.

In the child who will learn to lead with integrity.

In the graduate who will carry their faith into their family, their workplace, and their community.

And in the generations that will come after them.

That is the significance of what you are building.

As we celebrate our inaugural year, we celebrate not only how far God has brought us, but the people He called to help make this beginning possible.

We are deeply grateful for your faithfulness, your sacrifice, your leadership, and your willingness to follow where God leads.

And we pray that the Lord continues to give you wisdom for every decision, unity in every challenge, courage for every new step, and peace in knowing that your service has eternal significance.

Because this school is not ultimately ours.

It is His.

And we trust the One who began this good work to continue it.

“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it…” — Philippians 1:6

🌲 Rooted in Faith.
💚 Growing in Excellence.
🦅 Leading with Purpose.
✨ Ready to Soar.

To our Firm Foundation Academy Board of Directors:

Thank you for saying yes to the call.
Thank you for helping lay the foundation.
Thank you for serving with faith.
And thank you for believing in what God can do through this school community.

During Wisconsin School Board Week, we are grateful for the opportunity to celebrate YOU and the vital role you play in the life and future of Firm Foundation Academy. 💚🌲🦅

With grateful hearts, we celebrate you.

🙏🇺🇸 See You at the Pole | September 23, 2026 🇺🇸🙏

On September 23rd, Firm Foundation Academy students, staff, families, and community members gathered for See You at the Pole to pray for our schools, our communities, and our nation.

Our students and staff took turns leading in prayer, worship, and the reading of Scripture, lifting up our teachers, administrators, students, families, and schools across our community and throughout our nation.

There was something incredibly special about seeing our school community come together with one purpose—to seek God, stand in faith, and pray for the next generation. 🙏

We believe prayer matters. We believe our schools matter. And we believe our students are worth covering in prayer.

What a blessing to see our students, staff, and community come together and put our faith into action! ❤️

“As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.” — Joshua 24:15

Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this year’s See You at the Pole such a meaningful and powerful time of prayer and worship. 🇺🇸🙏

🔧 HELP US REPLACE OUR DAMAGED LASER CUTTER 🔧

At Firm Foundation Academy, we believe our students should have opportunities to learn by doing—and our student-run business is helping make that possible!

Our students currently create custom items such as keychains and stickers using our 3D printers. To expand their skills and what they are able to create, we invested $4,000 in a used laser cutter and air filtration system.

Unfortunately, when the machine arrived, it had been severely damaged during shipping and is not functional. After working through the appropriate channels, we were unable to recover the purchase cost, leaving our new school with an unexpected $4,000 loss.

💚 Now, we're asking our community to help us turn this setback into an opportunity.

Our goal is to raise $4,000 to replace the damaged laser cutter so our students can continue developing hands-on skills in design, production, business, and entrepreneurship.

Every contribution makes a difference. And if you're unable to donate, sharing this post is just as valuable in helping us spread the word!

🇺🇸🙏 JOIN US AT THE POLE 🙏🇺🇸

There is something powerful about stopping in the middle of a busy week, gathering together, and simply praying.

This Wednesday, we invite our FFA students, families, staff, and community to gather around the flagpole for See You at the Pole- a global day of student-led prayer.

We will gather to pray for our students, our teachers, our families, our school, and our community, but our prayers won’t stop at the walls of Firm Foundation Academy. We will also lift up schools throughout our community and across our nation, praying for the students, teachers, families, and leaders in each one. 🇺🇸

We will pray for wisdom for teachers, courage for students, strength for families, unity within our communities, and God’s guidance over the year ahead.

At Firm Foundation Academy, our mission is more than academics. We want to raise up young people who know truth, seek wisdom, serve others, and understand that their lives have a greater purpose.

And that work begins with prayer. 💚

So, whether you are a student, parent, grandparent, staff member, church member, or community friend, come stand with us at the pole.

Come for five minutes.
Come for the whole gathering.
Come pray for our school.
Come pray for all of our schools.
Come pray for the next generation.

Join us. 🇺🇸🙏
