We offer quality licensed group childcare for children 6 weeks to 14 years. We offer both all-day childcare and a school aged program.

Our Story

With over 40 years of experience Tender Learning Center and Kids Etc. programs have what it takes to meet your child care needs. We offer quality licensed group childcare for children birth to 13 years, designed specifically for early childhood education. At TLC, you will find dedicated teachers practicing focused curriculum in classrooms that are safe and nurturing environment. From infancy to preschool to kindergarten, at TLC your child will engage in exciting learning activities specifically designed to meet their developmental needs and to help them advance to the next level. Tender Learning Center is part of the Early Head Start (EHS) Child Care Partnership Program. It was developed to provide high quality services to families of children ages birth to three while allowing children to staying the child care center they have chosen. The program provides year round services based on the four cornerstones of EHS: family development, child development. staff developments and community building. Children will receive services in a high quality childcare center.

Our mission at Tender Learning Center is to provide affordable, convenient and safe child care to the Rusk County community. We work towards preparing your child for the future ahead of them by introducing social skills, respect, responsibility and independence. It is our goal to make parents feel secure and comfortable placing their child in our care. Your child’s safety is our #1 priority. Our doors are always open to parent involvement. Our trained and certified staff looks forward to guiding your child in the best way possible.
