💙💛 A HUGE EAGLE THANK YOU! 🦅📚

Sometimes, the smallest acts of kindness make the BIGGEST difference! 💛

Oakbrook Middle School would like to send a HUGE shoutout to Tasha at Walmart on Dorchester Road for her incredibly generous donation of notebooks, planners, and journals for our students and teachers! 📓✏️📚

These supplies are more than just paper and pages. They’re opportunities for our students to stay organized, express their creativity, set goals, and be successful in the classroom. And for our teachers, they’re additional resources to help make the magic happen every single day!

We are so fortunate to have community partners who believe in our students, support our teachers, and invest in the success of our school.

Tasha, THANK YOU for thinking of our Eagles and helping us continue to soar ABOVE THE REST! 🦅💙💛

HAPPY NATIONAL SCHOOL LUNCH WEEK! 💛💙🍎

Behind every delicious meal served at Oakbrook Middle School is an AMAZING team of hardworking individuals who make sure our Eagles are fed, cared for, and ready to learn! 🦅🍽️

This week, we’re shining the spotlight on our INCREDIBLE CAFETERIA CREW! 🌟

These smiling faces do so much more than prepare and serve meals. They greet our students with kindness, work tirelessly behind the scenes, and help create a welcoming environment where every Eagle feels valued.

Feeding hundreds of hungry middle schoolers every day is no small task, but this team makes it happen with dedication, teamwork, and a whole lot of heart! ❤️

👏 Please join us in giving our cafeteria staff a HUGE round of applause! We see you, we appreciate you, and we are so grateful for everything you do for our students and staff!

At Oakbrook, being isn’t just about what happens in the classroom. It’s about the incredible people who make our school a special place to be every single day! 💙💛

THANK YOU for keeping our Eagles fueled and ready to SOAR! 🦅

Today, 215 Oakbrook Middle School Orchestra, Piano, Chorus, and Band students had an incredible opportunity to attend the Black Violin Educational Concert at the Charleston Gaillard Center! ✨

Through an electrifying blend of classical music and hip-hop, Black Violin showed our students that music has no boundaries! Their powerful performance inspired our young musicians to think outside the box, embrace their individuality, and DREAM BIG! 🌟

What an unforgettable experience for our OMS Performing Arts students! A special thank you to the Charleston Gaillard Center and Black Violin for inspiring the next generation of musicians! 🎶👏🏾

💙💛 It’s a great day to be an Eagle! 🦅

🏆💙💛 ANOTHER REASON TO CELEBRATE AT OAKBROOK! 💛💙🏆

We are SO excited to announce that Oakbrook Middle School has been recognized by Jostens Renaissance with the School Culture Builder Award – Back to School! 🎉🦅

This award recognizes schools that go above and beyond to cultivate JOY, build excitement, and create a positive school culture as students and staff return for a new school year!

At Oakbrook, we believe school should be more than just a place where students come to learn. It should be a place where they feel welcomed, celebrated, connected, and EXCITED to be part of something special! 💙

From our high-energy back-to-school rally and spirited celebrations to the countless ways our teachers and staff make students feel valued every single day, we are intentional about creating a culture where EVERY student belongs and EVERY Eagle matters!

A HUGE shoutout to our incredible Renaissance Team, whose creativity, enthusiasm, and dedication help bring our school culture to life! And thank you to our entire faculty and staff for making Oakbrook a place students WANT to be!

✨ School culture doesn't happen by accident. We BUILD it, we LIVE it, and we CELEBRATE it! ✨
