Welcome, Señora Duba de Galeano! 👋

Gabrielle has deep roots at LCA – as an alum, current parent, and the daughter of Headmaster, Rick Duba. Gabrielle is fluent in Spanish and calls Honduras her second home. 🌎

She is thrilled to be teaching Spanish I and II this year and shared, "I had two inspirational Spanish teachers during my time at LCA, both of whom helped me gain the incredible ability to speak a second language. This ability opened the world to me and completely changed the trajectory of my life. I'd love to help the next generation of learners at LCA discover the joy of foreign language!"

The trees are calling!🌲

Whose child has missed TimberNook all summer long? 🙋‍♀️🙋‍♂️ We're looking forward to having our trees full of students again!

There is abundant research – confirmed by our own experience of TimberNook – that our children need time to be in nature, to have sensory-rich, hands-on experiences, to play imaginatively and to problem-solve independently.

Our commitment to doing what is best for for our students, led us to TimberNook initially, and now that we're several years in, we're even more committed because of the undeniable impact! We believe that TimberNook helps children become the strongest, most confident, most curious version of him or herself!

Welcome back, Mrs. Clifford! 👋

Angela (Dube, '99) Clifford is an alum of LCA and returning to campus this fall as a staff member – and bringing her two daughters to experience an LCA education too! She holds a BA in Elementary Education and has experience homeschooling.

When we asked "Why LCA?"
She said she "has a personal bias, of course," but she truly finds LCA to be "a place for learning and personal growth within a Biblically-minded environment and that's just the kind of place where I want to grow." 🌳

This is Lauren's first year on staff, and she's looking forward to working in Kindergarten and TimberNook.

When we asked "Why LCA?"
