We fund field trips and enrichment opportunities, celebrate our amazing staff, host fun family events, and provide extras that make school special. As we get ready for another amazing school year, weā€™re asking our Pleasant Street School community to help us get a head start!

The Pleasant Street School PTA relies solely on donations and fundraising to provide the extras that make our school so special, from field trips and enrichment opportunities to teacher appreciation and family events.

Every dollar donated goes directly back to our students, and no donation is too small. Whether itā€™s $5, $10, or more, your generosity helps create meaningful experiences and lasting memories for every child.

On the final staff day of the school year, the PSS PTA was thrilled to treat our incredible teachers and staff to a special visit from Charlieā€™s Cafe! From handcrafted lattes and specialty drinks to delicious cookies, it was our small way of saying THANK YOU for the dedication, kindness, patience, and hard work they pour into our school every single day.

Watching staff gather, laugh, relax, and enjoy a well-deserved treat was the perfect way to wrap up another successful school year.

A huge thank you to Charlieā€™s Cafe for helping us celebrate our amazing PSS staff, and to everyone who supports the PTA throughout the year. Your generosity helps us create opportunities to show appreciation to the people who make Pleasant Street School such a special place.

To our teachers, specialists, support staff, office staff, custodians, cafeteria team, and administration: Thank you for all you do for our students and families. We hope you have a wonderful, relaxing summer!

Today we celebrate an incredible group of students as they complete their elementary school journey and move on to middle school. We are so proud of all they have accomplished and canā€™t wait to see what the future holds for them.

A huge thank you to all of our amazing volunteers who helped make the 5th Grade Promotion celebration so special. Your time, generosity, and dedication helped create lasting memories for our students and families. We couldnā€™t do it without you!

Huge thanks to our amazing Student Council for collaborating with us to make recess even more fun at PSS!

Thanks to the money raised through our school store, we were able to purchase brand new recess equipment for ALL students to enjoy! From basketballs and soccer balls to kickballs and volleyballs, our students are already having a blast.

Itā€™s always incredible to see students helping create something positive for their entire school community. Thank you to everyone who supported the school store and helped make this happen

What a way to close out Teacher Appreciation Week!

Today, Charlieā€™s Cafe brought the coffeehouse experience right to PSS, serving up handcrafted coffees, lattes, and dirty Alaniā€™s for our incredible staff. From the delicious drinks to the fun atmosphere, it was the perfect ending to a week filled with love, appreciation, laughter, and celebrating the amazing people who make our school so special.

One of the sweetest parts of today was having Abby, the talented barista behind Charlieā€™s Cafe, back in the halls of PSS as an alumni. It was such a full circle moment seeing a former PSS student come back to help celebrate the teachers and staff who make this school such a special place.

We have had SO much fun spoiling our teachers and staff this week because they truly deserve it every single day. Thank you to Charlieā€™s Cafe for helping us finish the week on such a fun and memorable note, the smiles said it all!

To our PSS staff: thank you for all you do for our students, families, and school community. We appreciate you more than words can say!

Before lunch even rolled around, our teachers got a little extra boost thanks to Aroma Joeā€™s in Laconia!

They hooked up PSS staff with a fun ā€œMake Your Own RUSHā€ station to help kick off the day with some positive energy!

Thank you, Aroma Joeā€™s, for being a part of our Teacher Appreciation Week celebrations!

A huge THANK YOU to our friends at Sals Pizza Laconia for helping us spoil the amazing teachers and staff of Pleasant Street School today!

Salā€™s started their day extra early to make fresh pizzas and the most incredible cinnamon rolls, and their kindness brought so many smiles to our teachersā€™ faces. We are so grateful for businesses like Salā€™s that continue to show up for our school community in such thoughtful and generous ways.

Thank you for always being such a wonderful part of our PSS family and community!
