🎓🐾 Celebrating Our Veterinary Technician Graduates! 🐾🎓

We are proud to celebrate the newest graduates of our Veterinary Technician Program at the Florida Parishes Campus!

Congratulations to Alexis, Autumn, Peyten, Taylor, Makayla, Mary, Fallon, Markeith, and Hadassah on completing the program and reaching this exciting milestone.

The completion ceremony brought together students, family, friends, and members of the NTCC community to recognize the hard work, dedication, and perseverance that brought these graduates to this moment.

We also thank Program Director Kristine Leonard, Instructor Ashley Davidson, and Dean Burke Jones for their commitment to supporting and preparing our students for careers in veterinary medicine.

🏆 A Nightingale Award-Winning Nursing Program! 🩺💙💚

We are incredibly proud to celebrate NTCC’s School of Nursing and Health Sciences RN Program, named the 2026 Nightingale Award Undergraduate Program of the Year!

In just three years, our RN program has grown from a vision into a thriving program preparing nurses to serve communities across the Northshore. With four consecutive RN cohorts and the addition of our PN-to-RN Bridge program, NTCC continues to expand opportunities for students while helping meet the growing need for highly skilled nurses in our region.

This recognition belongs to the dedicated faculty, staff, students, leadership, and partners who have helped build this program and continue to move it forward.

Welcome Back Gators!!!! Today is the first day of the Fall semester! We want to see your first-day selfies! Post them below and meet your newly elected Student Government Association (SGA) Executive President, Tiffany Hughes-Smith (Practical Nursing student from Florida Parishes Campus).

Tiffany says, "I am honored to serve as the Executive President of the SGA. My goal is to make sure students feel heard, supported, and connected. For the 2026–27 academic year, I want to increase student involvement, strengthen communication, and build stronger relationships between students, faculty, and administration. Together, we can make our campus community stronger and more welcoming."

NTCC's School of Nursing and Health Sciences has some exciting news to share! The Spring 2026 NCLEX pass rates from our Registered Nursing and Practical Nursing programs in and are higher than the national average across the board!

Lacombe Campus's RN cohort achieved 96.5% pass rate, with 29 graduates—our largest graduating RN cohort to date. Additionally, our Hammond and Lacombe Campuses Practical Nursing graduating cohorts achieved an outstanding 100% pass rate! And lastly, Sullivan Campus pass rates are at 92.8%.

Congratulations to our May 2026 graduates! We look forward to seeing the positive difference you will make in the lives of your patients and communities. Your future is bright, and this is only the beginning!
