📚 Library Book Round-Up! 📚

It’s that time of year—we’re on a mission to get all of our library books back! All library books are due Friday.

On Friday afternoon, I’ll announce:
📖 The classes with the fewest books still checked out in Grades 1–2 and Grades 3–5
📖 Our schoolwide total of outstanding books

(And who knows… there may even be a schoolwide challenge involved! 👀)

Then on Wednesday, June 10, we’ll officially announce our two winning classes:
🏆 One winner from Grades 1–2
🏆 One winner from Grades 3–5

🎉 The winning classes will earn a Popsicle Party on June 11! 🍧

Check those backpacks, bookshelves, under beds, and in cars—we know those library books are hiding somewhere! Let’s see if we can get every book back home before summer. 📚💜🐾

🍎 Transition to Kindergarten Applications Are Open! 🐾

Do you have a child who will be turning 5 between September 1, 2026, and August 31, 2027? North Thurston Public Schools is now accepting applications for our Transition to Kindergarten (TK) program for the 2026–27 school year!

TK provides an engaging, supportive learning experience designed to help young learners build the skills and confidence they need for kindergarten success.

📅 Who is eligible?
Children who turn 5 between September 1, 2026, and August 31, 2027.

📢 Families will be notified of acceptance in Fall 2026.

Our track team did so great last week in the track meet. Great job everyone!
