Horizons Student Ambassadors, a club organized for and by military-connected students, gathered to place flags on the Horizons Elementary grounds, honoring the sacrifice of fallen heroes this Memorial Day.

Future Leaders in Action:
This week Mya planned, and facilitated the K-Kids meeting on on her own! Another 5th grader will do the same for their next meeting. 💙💛
Band students performed solos and gave speeches for their families at their first concert🎵🎺

A group of students have been giving up their recess in order to write essays, do research and create posters to convince HES staff that we should switch from disposable to reusable utensils to lessen our environmental impact🌳🐢🍴
So proud of these Eagles, and the impact they will have on our community as they continue to find their voices.
