Our newest Shodan, Mr Logan Risser. Logan has done judo under his father Reinders Sensei since age 5. He was on the junior national competition team for Sempai. He took a short break to play hockey and came back to achieve his black belt. He helps coach the competitors along side his dad and his sister. He has started working on his coaching certification so he can coach at national level tournaments.

Ma Emilie Burki is as recently promoted to Shodan. She has been with Sempai since she was a young g child and competed on our competition team traveling around the country competing at the junior national tournaments. She assists with the junior classes when she's home from college. While at UNL for college, she helps coach the UNL Judo club.

Mr William Wilkins is a Nidan in Judo under Reinders Sensei. Me. Wilkins always volunteers to be Uke for kata and currently can Tori or Uke for three of the katas. He teaches Thursdays along side Mr Tanner Hawkins.

Joe Gubbels is a Nidan with Senpai Judo who teaches on Tuesdays at the Grover street location. Mr. Gubbels started Judo as a kid under Dr. Lee where he earned his green belt. After a break from Judo, Mr. Gubbels got back into Judo under Sensei Reinders where he earned his Shodan and then his Nidan. Mr Gubbels also has a Sandan in USJA Jujitsu.

Come out and support these kids traveling to the Presidents Cup and Dallas Invitational which takes place in November. Two junior national judo tournaments back to back in one weekend. Kids are training really hard so please come support them!
