We’re excited to see each of you step into your roles and continue building on the strong foundation of this program. Leadership is about service, responsibility and showing up, we know you’re ready.

At the same time, we want to sincerely thank our outgoing officers for everything you’ve given this year. Your time, effort and leadership have made a lasting impact on our chapter. You’ve set the standard and created something others can continue to grow.

Tonight was our La Vernia BPA End-of-Year Celebration and it was one of those nights that reminds me why this program matters so much. Being able to gather with our students, their families and our supporters made it really special.

We took time to recognize a few individuals who have made a strong impact this year. Mrs. Zunker, our CTE Coordinator, continues to support both our program and our students in ways that truly make a difference. Micah Lyssy has done an outstanding job serving as Regional President this year and we’re excited to see him serve his term.

We also recognized two of our student leaders for their service projects. Allison Thompson completed our annual BPA Bear Drive, which provides teddy bears to local first responders to help comfort children during difficult situations. Jason Granato led our BPA Essentials Drive, supporting the Children’s Shelter of San Antonio and surrounding shelters. Both of these projects reflect the heart of what BPA is about service and community.

One of the most meaningful parts of the evening was honoring our seniors who earned their BPA Honor Cords. These cords represent years of involvement, effort and commitment to the program. Each of these students has put in the time and earned that recognition and we couldn’t be more proud of them.

We also announced our 2026–2027 Chapter Officers and we’re looking forward to seeing them step into their leadership roles next year.

Nights like this are a reminder that it’s not just about competitions or events, it’s about growth, leadership, service and the people who choose to show up and be part of something bigger.

Grateful for this group and all they’ve accomplished this year. 💙
