Lutheran High School in La Verne is open and servicing our students 100% on-line. Our awesome faculty was able to push their curriculum and lesson plans to an on-line format through Google Classroom in two work days! As of Wednesday, March 18, 2020 we were completely up and running! LHS is following our published bell schedule which means our students are in class, remotely, from 8:00am - 2:10pm. They will earn 100% credit for their current course load and will not be in any jeopardy of not receiving a diploma (Class of 2020) or staying on track for graduation (underclassmen). Faculty is working remotely from home and our newly installed, state of the art, IT system is supporting both them and our students well.

In response to recent school closings and in an effort to maintain our commitment to academic excellence, Lutheran High School La Verne is proud to introduce Trojan OnLine! Starting tomorrow, March 18th at 8 A.M., LHS classes will resume using the regular bell schedule. Students will be interacting with rigorous and engaging course material using the Google Classroom platform in REAL TIME. The LHS faculty is proud to provide a high quality, educational experience to our students in the comfort and safety of their own homes! 💻📚📝

Since 1973, Lutheran High School has been providing quality christian education to the families in the San Gabriel, Pomona and Inland Valley Communities. Accredited under the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the National Lutheran Schools Association (NLSA), we pride ourselves on our rigorous college preparatory curriculum and Christ focused education. LHS is also part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, which includes pre-schools, elementary schools, high schools, universities, and seminaries. Built on a biblical foundation, our school offers opportunities in athletics, drama, music, art and naval science. All centered on the development of Faith, Christian Citizenship, Stewardship and Preparedness for a productive Life. These qualities are highlighted through our Expected School-wide Learning Results (ESLR’s) and are reflected through each of our students both in the classroom and in their daily lives.

Lutheran High School alumni have gone on to influence others in remarkable ways that have reflected these attributes. Many have become, pastors, missionaries, have full time military careers, become teachers of all grade levels, business owners and leaders in political and public affairs. We hope that our small part in these students have a lasting effect to pursue a Christ-like lifestyle.
