Quality Education and Meaningful Ministry
Since 1973, Lutheran High School has been providing quality christian education to the families in the San Gabriel, Pomona and Inland Valley Communities. Accredited under the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and the National Lutheran Schools Association (NLSA), we pride ourselves on our rigorous college preparatory curriculum and Christ focused education. LHS is also part of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod, which includes pre-schools, elementary schools, high schools, universities, and seminaries. Built on a biblical foundation, our school offers opportunities in athletics, drama, music, art and naval science. All centered on the development of Faith, Christian Citizenship, Stewardship and Preparedness for a productive Life. These qualities are highlighted through our Expected School-wide Learning Results (ESLR’s) and are reflected through each of our students both in the classroom and in their daily lives.
Lutheran High School alumni have gone on to influence others in remarkable ways that have reflected these attributes. Many have become, pastors, missionaries, have full time military careers, become teachers of all grade levels, business owners and leaders in political and public affairs. We hope that our small part in these students have a lasting effect to pursue a Christ-like lifestyle.
