We're excited to welcome Hannah as an intern with Gibson Farmers Co-op in Newbern, Tennessee! A native of Atwood, Tennessee, Hannah is a senior at the University of Tennessee at Martin pursuing a degree in Agricultural Business. She grew up on her family's row crop and cattle operation, where she developed a strong love for agriculture and an appreciation for the important role it plays in our everyday lives. Throughout her time in school, Hannah has been actively involved in FFA and 4-H, experiences that have helped strengthen her passion for the agricultural industry. 🥳

Outside of school and work, Hannah enjoys spending time with family and friends, being outdoors, and going to the river.

We're excited to have Hannah on the team and look forward to seeing all she'll accomplish during her time with Tennessee Farmers Co-op. Welcome aboard, Hannah! 👏🏻

Please join us in welcoming Olivia Miller to the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative Trainee Program! 🎉

Olivia is training with Lincoln, Bedford & Moore Farmers Co-op in Fayetteville, Tennessee, and is from Lascassas, Tennessee. An alumna of Middle Tennessee State University, Olivia grew up helping her grandparents with their beef cattle operation before developing a passion for raising backyard poultry.

Through her work at the MTSU Beef & Swine Unit and Dairy, Olivia gained hands-on experience caring for beef cattle, dairy cows, and swine, along with pasture management, fencing, and hay production. We're excited to have Olivia in the trainee program and look forward to seeing her continue to grow while serving Tennessee agriculture! 👏🏻

Please join us in welcoming Phillip Anderson to the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative Trainee Program! 🎉

Phillip is training with Coffee Farmers Co-op in Manchester, Tennessee, where he also calls home. Growing up on his family's 1,300-acre row crop farm sparked his passion for agriculture and led him to gain hands-on experience in crop production, beef cattle, dairy, and grain operations.

Phillip has worked with the MTSU Crops Unit, Beef Unit, and Dairy. During school, he's involved in MTSU Agritourism, and when not at work, he enjoys hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family. We're excited to have Phillip in the trainee program and look forward to seeing all he'll accomplish! 👏🏻

Please join us in welcoming Shelbi Clifton to the Tennessee Farmers Cooperative Trainee Program! 🎉

Shelbi is training with Gibson Farmers Co-op in Newbern and is originally from RoEllen. Growing up on her family's farm, she developed a passion for agriculture while helping raise and care for livestock and through her involvement in 4-H and FFA.

Since joining Gibson Farmers Co-op in October 2023, Shelbi has gained hands-on experience with forage, soil, and tissue sampling while serving local farmers. We're excited to see her continue to grow through the trainee program. Welcome to the team, Shelbi! 👏🏻

Welcome to the Tennessee Farmers Co-op Internship Program, David Cartwright! 🎉
We're excited to welcome David as an intern with Gibson Farmers Co-op in Newbern, Tennessee!
A native of Dyersburg, Tennessee, David is a senior at the University of Tennessee at Martin majoring in Agribusiness. Although he didn't grow up on a farm, his interest in agriculture began through 4-H in middle school, where he participated in livestock judging and showing. He continued his involvement through FFA in high school and has since gained valuable experience through jobs and internships, including chemical test plot work that provided hands-on exposure to crop protection products, field research, and day-to-day agricultural operations.
Outside of agriculture, David enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and spending time on the river with family and friends.
We're excited to have David on the team and look forward to seeing all he'll accomplish during his time with Tennessee Farmers Co-op. Welcome aboard, David! 👏

Welcome to the Tennessee Farmers Co-op Internship Program, Connor Dillon! 🎉
We're excited to welcome Connor as an intern with AG 1 Farmers Co-op in Livingston!
Connor is a senior at Tennessee Tech University majoring in Agribusiness Management. He grew up helping his family operate a small goat farm, while also raising chickens and maintaining a garden. His passion for agriculture continued through high school, where he was active in FFA, and into college, where he gained hands-on experience in cattle, sheep, and hog production while working at the Tennessee Tech University Farms.
Outside of agriculture, Connor enjoys hunting, fishing, farm work, and golfing.
We're excited to have Connor on the team and look forward to seeing all he'll accomplish during his time with Tennessee Farmers Co-op. Welcome aboard, Connor! 👏

Welcome to the Tennessee Farmers Co-op Internship Program, Alyson Taylor Metcalf! 🎉

We're excited to have Alyson join us this summer as part of our internship program with Metcalf Lincoln Bedford Moore Farmers Co-op in Fayetteville!

Alyson is a junior at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Business. She is originally from Shelbyville, TN, and grew up raising cattle, goats, pigs, chickens, and ducks on her family farm.

She has been active in FFA and 4-H throughout her school years, competing in multiple events and earning several titles. She is also involved as a Bedford County 4-H member, a Farm Bureau Young Farmers and Ranchers member (2026), and a member of the UTM Cattlemen’s Association.

Outside of school and work, Alyson enjoys showing livestock, antiquing (especially Hens on a Nest), and spending time with her family and boyfriend.

We're excited to have Alyson on the team and can't wait to see all she'll accomplish during her time with Co-op. Welcome aboard! 👏🏻

Welcome to the Tennessee Farmers Co-op Internship Program, Peyton Jowers! 🎉
We're excited to have Peyton joining us this summer as part of our internship program with Gibson Farmers Co-op in Finley!
Peyton is a senior at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where he is pursuing a degree in Agricultural Engineering. He is originally from Newbern, TN, and grew up showing wethers through 4-H while also being active in Dyer County FFA.
His passion for agriculture continued to grow when he started a cattle operation in 2022 and has since expanded to include poultry and swine. He is also involved with Young Farmers and Ranchers, continuing to build his knowledge and experience in the industry.
Outside of school and work, Peyton enjoys hunting, fishing, and playing guitar.
We're excited to have Peyton on the team and can't wait to see all he'll accomplish during his time with Co-op. Welcome aboard! 👏

• Welcome to the Tennessee Farmers Co-op Internship Program, Madi Woody! 🎉
We're excited to have Madi joining us this summer as part of our internship program with ProTrition in La Vergne, TN!
Madi is a senior at the University of Tennessee at Martin, where she is pursuing a degree in Animal Science. She is originally from Santa Fe, TN, and grew up on a small hobby farm raising goats, donkeys, cattle, and more, which helped shape her passion for agriculture and animal care.
She brings hands-on experience from working at United Co-op in Columbia for the past two years and previously completed the Co-op summer internship in 2025. On campus, she is active in Delta Tau Alpha Agricultural Honor Society, where she serves as Secretary, the Collegiate Cattlemen’s Association, and the Student Alumni Council as a Representative.
Outside of school and work, Madi enjoys wake surfing, jet skiing, swimming, reading, and spending time working with animals.
We're excited to have Madi on the team and can't wait to see all she'll accomplish during her time with Co-op. Welcome aboard! 👏

Welcome to the Tennessee Farmers Co-op Internship Program, Kaylee Roberts! 🎉
We're excited to have Kaylee joining us this summer as part of our internship program with First Farmers Co-op in Savannah, TN!
Kaylee is a junior at Mississippi State University, where she is pursuing a degree in Agronomy with an emphasis in Integrated Crop Management. She is originally from Corinth, MS, and was raised on a farm where she has been involved in agriculture her entire life.
She brings hands-on experience working with both livestock and row crop operations, including animal care, feed ordering, herd health, accounts payable, renter payments, inventory tracking, and crop scouting exposure. She is also certified in artificial insemination for cattle and has shown cows and goats throughout her life.
On campus, Kaylee is active in Sigma Alpha Professional Agricultural Sorority, where she serves as Fellowship Chair and Standards Chair, as well as Collegiate FFA.
When she’s not working or studying, she enjoys reading and photography.
We're excited to have Kaylee on the team and can't wait to see all she'll accomplish during her time with Co-op. Welcome aboard! 👏
