🚀 Our Elementary STEM Innovation Labs Are Officially Underway! 🧡🖤

Today, Our Elementary STEM Academies officially launched another exciting year of STEM Innovation Labs, and this year is extra special! For the first time, every Kindergarten through 5th grade student will participate in our STEM Academy experiences every nine weeks, giving every Bulldog the opportunity to engage in hands-on, inquiry-based learning!

Port Houston awarded $500,000 in Community Grants to 32 local organizations for 2026. The funds support programs in workforce training, STEM education, health care access, food assistance, and neighborhood improvement across the Houston Ship Channel region.

Workforce development accounts for nearly half of the funding awarded. The grants awarded will help prepare students for careers in the maritime, logistics, and industrial sectors.
