We are excited to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by learning, celebrating, and embracing the rich cultures, traditions, history, and contributions of Hispanic and Latino communities. 💚🤍

Throughout the week, our Baker Bears are joining in the celebration with a week of dress-up days, enjoying Hispanic music playing through our school bells, and participating in fun activities that bring culture and learning into our school community! 🎶🎉

From music and traditions to inspiring people and stories, we are enjoying every opportunity to learn something new and celebrate the diversity that makes our Baker family so special. 🐻💚

Reminder!

🥔💚 Our teachers are ALL THAT… and a bag of chips! 💚🥔

This week, we rolled our appreciation cart through the halls and classrooms to give our amazing Baker teachers and staff a little treat! Everyone got to choose their favorite bag of chips as a small way of saying thank you for everything they do for our Baker Bears each day.

Great schools are built by great people, and we’re fortunate to have an incredible team at Baker! La Porte ISD

💛 Your Why 💛

This activity was called “Your Why.” It was a simple but meaningful reminder to think about the people, dreams, goals, and reasons that keep us moving forward.

Life can have hard days, but remembering our “why” can help remind us that we matter, we are loved, and we have people who count on us. 💛

Take a moment today to think about your why — the people and dreams that make you want to keep going, growing, and becoming the best version of yourself.

✨ Your why matters. YOU matter. ✨
