🎶 Meet Jack Compton, a senior at La Plata High School and talented local musician!

Jack has performed with the Washington Metropolitan Philharmonic, Southern Maryland Concert Band and Port To***co Players, as well as at local venues and events honoring our veterans.

Jack is also an Eagle Scout candidate using his talent to raise critical funds for his upcoming community service project.

We are pleased to announce that this Friday, August 28 from 5–7 PM, Jack will perform with his clarinet in our dining room and accept donations to raise money for his service project.

Stop by, enjoy dinner, be entertained and support Jack's project. ❤️

Hello to all of my students! There will be sessions this Sunday - Keep an eye out for the schedule. If you're not available, it's not a problem - feel free to let me know what works for you.

I love these days when the busy schedule gets cancelled. It gives me a chance to check up on grades and also have unscheduled quality time with my son. Unrushed dinner and a movie on a school night!

Good afternoon! I was looking through my math books the other day, and I notice that several missing. If your child worked with me and borrowed a math book, I'd be so grateful to have it returned - no questions asked! Or, if you still need to use it, just let me know so I can account for it. Thanks so much!

Good day, Friends! Just a quick little post to confirm there will be no tutoring sessions tomorrow - Sunday. I hope you enjoy the snow and stay off the roads, if possible. Send me an email if you need support for any assignments that are being completed over the weekend. Happy to help, as always!
See you soon! ☃️☃️

It's always a good time to study for the SAT! And today you're in luck, because Amazon has the Official SAT Study Guide on a Black Friday sale - $24! It's usually $35.
If you have a high school student, this is a good deal to look into. Reach out if you need tutoring to go with it!

I have a few tutoring spaces available on Sundays - credentialed for all grades from littles to seniors including SAT/ACT.
