Great things happening in Charles County Public Schools!

As another school year comes to a close, Charles County students are already preparing for what comes next. Workforce development remains a key priority for the Charles County Economic Development Department. Congratulations to Cadet Classes 29 & 30 of the Charles County Fire & EMS Cadet Program, recognized at their Annual Awards Banquet!

Seventeen seniors from the Pharmacy Technician program at Robert D. Stethem Educational Center took the national ExCPT certification exam on May 8, 2026—and delivered outstanding results! 👏
✅ 94% pass rate (16 of 17 students on the first attempt)
📊 Average score: 401.6 (80.3%), nearly 5 points higher than last year
🏆 10 students scored over 400—the highest number ever
🌟 Top score: 424/500
