The best part of any school is the people. We work hard together, laugh together, support one another, and genuinely enjoy spending time together. Grateful for an amazing team and a wonderful year of serving students and families together.

More Field Day fun! From relay races and team challenges to cheering on classmates and sharing plenty of smiles, our Lions made the most of every moment. Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and families who helped make the day such a special experience for our students. We loved seeing our Lions show teamwork, perseverance, and school spirit all day long.

Today, our Lions with perfect attendance enjoyed a special day at SeaWorld through a recognition program hosted by Senator Akilah Weber Pierson’s office for students across her district.

We are proud of these students for showing the power of being present every day and grateful for the opportunity to celebrate their commitment to learning.

One last Field Day as La Mesa Dale Lions. Our 5th graders spent the day making memories, cheering each other on, and celebrating their final days of elementary school together. We are so proud of this crew and can't wait to see all they accomplish next.

A huge thank you to our incredible Safety Patrol members! These student leaders have shown dedication all year long, arriving early and staying late to help keep our school community safe on Parks Avenue.

Today we celebrated their commitment with a game truck and a delicious Cane’s Chicken lunch. We are grateful for the responsibility, leadership, and service they demonstrate every day. Thank you for making a difference at La Mesa Dale!

Today at Peace Square, we celebrated our top Run Club runners for the year and recognized students with perfect attendance! We are so proud of their commitment, hard work, and consistency. Way to go, Lions!

Kindergarten had quite an adventure this week! From camping day in the classroom—complete with tents and lots of imagination—to a special family picnic, our students made memories, strengthened friendships, and shared meaningful moments with loved ones.

Thank you to our kindergarten families for being part of these special experiences and helping make this week so much fun for our youngest Lions!

First grade wrapped up the year with one last field trip to the Science Center! Students explored hands-on exhibits, asked great questions, and experienced science in action. What a fun way to celebrate a year of learning, curiosity, and discovery!

It's a fun way to celebrate students who demonstrate kindness, responsibility, and positive character throughout the week. We love ending the week by recognizing the choices that help make our school a welcoming and supportive place for everyone. Way to go, Peace Builders!

Even on early dismissal Tuesdays, learning doesn't stop for our staff. Today, our team came together to celebrate the incredible growth our students have made from Diagnostic 2 to Diagnostic 3 and across the entire school year.

Behind every data point is a student who worked hard, a teacher who believed in them, and a community that supported their success. We are proud of the progress our Lions have made and grateful for the dedicated educators who make that growth possible every day.
