There’s something pretty great about learning together. This week, our 4th and 5th graders took advantage of the shade and cooler morning air to read together outside, while our 4th graders worked side by side using math manipulatives to build their understanding of place value. Different subjects, different spaces, but the same thing happening: students thinking, talking, helping one another, and growing together. That’s what it looks like when everyone has a place in the crew.
