Rhombus is a multifaceted approach to health, education, and curriculum development considering mental, spiritual, physical, emotional and social health interconnected, valuable, and impacted by many other systems.

Mental Health tends to remain a mystery to many people. It reminds me of a magic trick that baffles people, until they know how the trick works. It is then no longer a mystery. Education about psychology gives you how the "trick works." There is much we do not understand about how and why people do what they do, but there is much we do know. First, we have fundamental truths given to us in Scripture, both about why people do what they do and what can be done to find health. Second, we have been given amazing minds to study and understand God's creation, humans, the brain and body, and patterns that are seen in nature. It is true the "science of psychology" began as direct opposition to much of what Scripture says, but the truth psychology finds was there all along. An example could be the proposition that thoughts impact behavior and emotion. Scripture gave us this truth in Proverbs 23:7 and Philippians 4:8, but psychology claimed this and called it Cognitive Behavior Therapy. Just because it is titled and used in psychology, the truth is powerful and originated long before we named it. Rhombus kicks the box on its side and beginning with the presupposition that the Bible is Truth, looks for innovative ways people can find health and be strong in a deteriorating world. Education is powerful and demystifies mental health struggles. Learn so you can teach others also.

Setting Boundaries in a Relationship
Whether you’re casually hooking up or have been going out for a while now, setting boundaries is an important part of any relationship. To have the healthiest relationship, both partners should know each other’s wants, goals, fears and limits. You should feel comfortable honestly communicating your needs to your partner without being afraid of what they might do in response. If your partner tells you that your needs are stupid, gets angry with you or goes against what you’re comfortable with, then your partner is not showing you the respect you deserve.
Talking about your boundaries with your partner is a great way to make sure that each person’s needs are being met and you feel safe in your relationship.
Here are some things to think about when setting boundaries in your relationship: https://www.loveisrespect.org/healthy-relationships/setting-boundaries/
