Today, 1st grade added to our new Kindness Garden. They created mini masterpieces that truly captured the spirit of our fundraiser! π

I adore my TK crew! Not only are they the cutest and sweetest bunch, they LOVE learning in the garden. Their wonder and love for our garden fills my bucket every time!

What a fun unit on birds these last few weeks. We learned that habitat loss is the number one reason for the decline in population for our feathered friends. π¦ π¦π¦π¦

Lots of fun in the garden today learning about plant adaptations. Our kids loved tasting butternut squash soup and creating their own imaginary plant species with super cool traits.

Today we started lessons and had a blast! Our awesome 6th grade students transformed the space by weeding, composting, and collecting seeds. So excited for this school year! ππ±

Happy last day of school sweet Mustangs! Itβs been beyond wonderful to be back in the garden with all our students. High fives to summer and I canβt wait to get back at it in August π₯°π±

5th graders wrapped up the year with parties in the garden. We played, painted, replanted, and got the garden ready for summer. Garden time is the best time! π₯°π₯³

We finished up garden lessons this week learning about our pollinator friends and how to protect them. These kids LOVE learning outdoors and playing in the dirt. My heart is full from all the fun times we shared this year! πͺ±πππ¦

Weβve found something our neighbor squirrels wonβt devourβ¦bell peppers and jalapeΓ±os for the win π₯³. Our 5th graders had a blast learning about preying mantis and honey bees last week too! π
