Do you have a child from ages 6-16 that would love to sell a product and earn real money? We have the perfect opportunity for them to practice entrepreneurship, build financial responsibility, leadership and innovation skills, setting a foundation in confidence for their future!

We have officially introduced ICEE (Intentionality, Civility, Energy, Excellence) awards at Acton Academy San Diego East!

This is a once per session way for us to recognize and celebrate learners who consistently model growth, leadership, personal accountability and contribute positively to our community!

Intentionality was demonstrated by heroes who tried again after making a mistake instead of giving up, who didn’t waste time doing their core skills, and one who demonstrated incredible focus and improvement in a previously challenging area!

Our civility honorees included learners who consistently use polite words when interacting with other learners and helpfulness towards guides.

Our energy winner was celebrated for her incredibly positive attitude that lifts up her studio mates every single day.

Our recognition for excellence were learners who made such drastic grade level jumps in a subject after really pushing themselves through their work.

We are so incredibly proud of these heroes and we love highlighting and celebrating their achievements all together. Go lions!

In the Spark Studio, Heroes have the opportunity to have various jobs. Listen to one of our caretakers as he describes his job in his own words!

It is the job of the caretaker to make sure the plants and animals in the studio are taken care of. Feeding, spraying, watering and cleaning are all done with the help of a guide but with the hands and hearts of the heroes.

Creating an environment for children to thrive is of upmost importance. Kids are far more capable than we give them credit for!
