Looking for a different school option this year?

The first few weeks of school can sometimes reveal that a school isn't quite the right fit for every child. Maybe your child is ready for more challenge and opportunities to move ahead, or maybe they need more individualized attention, a smaller class, or additional academic support.

If you're exploring other options, Mt. Helix Academy is hosting an Open House, and we'd love to welcome you!

At MHA, we offer:
• Small class sizes
• Personalized, mastery-based instruction
• Support when students need it and opportunities to advance when they're ready
• A close-knit TK–8 community
• A learning environment where children are known, supported, and encouraged to grow

Come take a look, meet our team, and see if MHA might be a better fit for your child.

Open House:
September 18th and 19th
Tours at 9am and 1pm

🎓 Congratulations to the Mt. Helix Academy Class of 2026! 🎓

This week we celebrated our 8th grade graduates as they closed one chapter and prepared to begin the next.

Over the years, these students have grown into capable leaders, thoughtful friends, and confident learners. While we're excited to see where their paths lead, they'll always have a home here at MHA.

Parent Angela Mitchell captured it perfectly:
"Going from a middle school class of just 30 students to high school may seem like a big jump, and these graduates are more than ready. The confidence, kindness, and sense of community they've gained at MHA will stay with them—and no doubt they'll pay it forward wherever they go."

Congratulations, graduates. Your MHA family is cheering you on every step of the way. 💙

🎉 Help us in celebrating a BIG win in our MHA family! 🎉

Coach Burger has been named Teacher of the Year by the Brigadier General Robert Cardenas Chapter of the Air & Space Forces Association—and we couldn’t be more proud!

As our PE teacher, Coach Burger brings something truly special to campus. He goes beyond the game by incorporating STEM into physical education, helping students explore movement through data, teamwork challenges, and real-world problem-solving. It’s hands-on learning at its best—keeping minds and bodies active!

Just as importantly, he consistently emphasizes the values of sportsmanship, teamwork, leadership, and character, helping students grow both on and off the field.

Even more exciting—he’s also been recognized at the state level, with national recognition on the horizon!

Coach Burger, thank you for inspiring our students every single day. This honor is so well deserved! 👏
