St. Martin of Tours Academy Alumni

After graduating from St. Martin of Tours Academy in 2017, I set out on a new adventure at the Academy of Our Lady of Peace High School. I remained active in the St. Martin of Tours Parish through many activities such as Vacation Bible Camp leadership and the Youth Group leadership team. This helped me discover my passion for working with children of all ages and find myself as I continue to expand my horizons in life.
I graduated from OLP in an unconventional, but historical way due to COVID-19 as I entered a new chapter of life at San Diego Mesa College. I am currently a Junior at San Diego State University where I am majoring in Elementary Education. As I near the end of my college education I hope to one day become an elementary school teacher just like the wonderful teachers who taught me at SMA. Dr. Yvette Nishikawa graduated from St. Martin Academy in 1984 after attending Grades 7 & 8 under the school leadership of Sister Barbara, Father Sam Cordeleoni and classroom instruction of Mrs. Allen and Mrs. Nickoli. She attended the Academy of Our Lady of Peace for a few years but ended up graduating from high school in Colorado before returning to Southern California for college at San Diego State University.
