Helix High School Class of 2007

There will be music performances at the All Class Picnic this Sunday. Expect to see a bunch of Helix folks [cheer (my favorite), choir, dance, etc.], Gary Sieler, Mike Reid, Ron Runyan, and Mike & the Bagpipes. You know they said the DRUM LINE won't be there? I'm thinking.. Why the curse not?! Oh well.. It should still be entertaining.

Remember when vinyl records were the standard of sound we listened to? 1945-1985 were called the "vinyl years", and that is the music of this r***e!

For one evening, come experience the music, the clothes & the culture that shaped our lives.

From the end of World War II, into the innocence of the 50's, thru the turbulent 60's, passing thru the "far out" 70's and touching the rise of a new type of record in the 80's (the CD), this will be a march thru time and music that will stir memories and bring smiles to everyone's faces.

The Helix Alumni Association, a 501© 3 Non-Profit organization (Tax ID #33-0621786), in partnership with the Helix Foundation, is hosting a fundraiser on April 20, 2016. Proceeds from this event will help to fund 2 of the current Alumni projects: restoration of the trophy cabinets in the Helix gymnasium, and the purchase of equipment for the Bagpipe band.
Any contribution you could make for our prize raffle would be greatly appreciated. Your tax-deductible contribution should be made payable to the Helix Foundation and can be mailed to Helix Charter High School – Alumni, 7323 University Ave., La Mesa, CA 91942.
Any items you wish to contribute for our prize raffle can be mailed to the address above or arrangements can be made to pick up your donated items by contacting one of our event coordinators listed below.
All donors will be prominently recognized on our raffle table. Please enclose your business card so that we can prepare the donor recognition signs correctly.
