Before school dismissed for Summer Break, The LJPS 2nd Grade math club was asked to help plant this year’s Arbor Day tree on our school grounds. Thank you to the City of La Junta for asking our students to participate in the reading of the Arbor Day Proclamation and planting of the tree!

Every month, our teachers and staff are looking for role model students who are demonstrating the School motto and more throughout each month. The TIGERS of the Month for May are pictured below. Our Tigers were recognized at the last School Assembly. Way to go🐯!
