Every School Day Matters Every School Day Matters

The first day of school is this coming Monday. On August 10th, students should start arriving at school between 7:30-7:45 AM. Students can be dropped off at the North parking lot by the LJ. Staff and Student parking is between the school and pool. For everyone's safety, please do not drop off students in the staff or student lots. The first bell will ring at 7:45 AM to head to class, and the tardy bell will ring at 7:50 AM. Breakfast will be delivered to classrooms. Picture Day and ID's for our students will begin at 8 AM, starting with Junior High. This is the link to prepay

or you may order after picture day. All students do need to take a school picture for their ID and Yearbook regardless if you are ordering or not ordering. Remember to review your student/parent handbook for dress code, phone policy, and other important information to help you and your student have a successful year. On the evening of August 10th, 8-12th grade students and families are invited to join us at 5:15 PM-7:15 PM in the auditorium for our back to school night. GO TIGERS!

Speech & Debate gives you the opportunity to:

We’re excited to welcome our 8th–12th grade students and families back to La Junta Jr./Sr. High School! Join us for an evening designed to help students and parents feel informed, prepared, and ready for a successful school year.
