Hello Ladies of SPARK!

There is an exciting opportunity coming up to help teach Middle and Freshmen/Sophomore High School girls about what women can accomplish through pursuing a science degree - the EXPANDING YOUR HORIZONS (EYH) workshop!

At EYH, you and another volunteer will be mentors to a group of 15 or so Middle School or High School-aged girls for the day. You will help to break the ice, inspire the girls, and es**rt them to a series of fascinating science workshops of different themes. At the end of the day, you get to go over what you learned and what the girls can do with science in the future!

EYH will take place from the morning to afternoon on Saturday, March 5th at the University of San Diego (USD). Attached is the informative flyer for this year's mentors. If you are interested, please register at the link that is provided on the flyer. Applications for this year's Mentors are due on Friday, February 26th.

Volunteer to become a mentor today and make an impact on the lives of young girls who are considering science in their career path!
