Karmonize started from the question, "what if we could count our karma?"

From there we developed a nonprofit platform for students where anyone with an email can post requests for help. With 35,000 people on campus, there is someone who can help you with almost anything! It works like this:

- Anyone at UCSD can post a request for help.

- When you help complete a request, you receive Karma Points.

- The more you earn, the more help you will get.

- If you like a request but don't have the skill or time needed to help, you can support it by upvoting the post, which adds a Karma Point to its value. Interesting, popular or worthy requests will gain points and rise to the top of the list. This means Karma Points are a non-monetary currency: earn Karma by helping others and use it to get help when you need it, for free! Free leadership training; T-shirt and lunch included!

Want a great experience helping local middle school students? Want to promote equal access to education and inspire children? Then sign up to be an Enspire Group Leader!

We will be hosting over 400 middle school students at UCSD on February 17th, and we need Group Leaders like you to help guide the kids, tell them about your experience at UCSD, and answer questions they have about college.

Are you a passionate volunteer who these kids can look up to? Then this is a great chance to be their mentor for a day and make a difference in a child’s life!

We're thrilled to announce that Karmonize has formed a partnership with The Guardian, a UC San Diego award-winning independent student newspaper!

Here is a first look at Karmonize in today's newspaper. We are very excited to have formed this relationship, which will help us spread awareness of our vision to help create a platform where students can support good causes and volunteer within the UC San Diego community.
