As director of the Stuart Collection, she is responsible for the growth and conservation of the diverse works, from conceptualization to ongoing conservation of existing sculptures.

One of UC San Diego's newest research study was granted $10 million dollars in order to support further examination of COVID-19 vaccination safety during pregnancy and immune response pre-and post-delivery. “Pregnant people are considered a priority population for COVID-19 vaccination. However, only about a third of pregnant persons have chosen vaccination,” said Christina Chambers, PhD, MPH, principal investigator of this study.

Peak: The monthly average of 421 parts per million is 50% greater than pre-industrial levels.
"We have known about this for half a century, and have failed to do anything meaningful about it," says Pieter Tans with the Global Monitoring Laboratory.
