We are beyond grateful to celebrate 30 years of Surf Diva and to have our story featured by the Times of San Diego / La Jolla Village News! From our humble beginnings in La Jolla Shores to inspiring surfers around the world, this journey has always been about so much more than catching waves.
Thank you to our incredible students, instructors, team members, families, and the amazing surfing community who have shared this ride with us. Because of you, we've helped thousands of people discover the confidence, joy, and freedom that surfing brings.
What began in 1996 with a mission to create a welcoming place where women could learn to surf, build confidence, and support one another in the ocean has continued to grow over the years. In 2002, we expanded our surf school to welcome everyone, and in 2004, we opened the doors to the Surf Diva Boutique, which was later honored as the SIMA Women's Retailer of the Year in 2013. While we've grown in many ways, our commitment to empowering women through surfing has remained at the heart of everything we do.
Whether you've taken your very first surf lesson with us, joined a women's surf clinic, sent your kids to camp, shopped with us, or have been part of the Surf Diva family for years, thank you for making the past 30 years so unforgettable.
Here's to more waves, more friendships, more confidence, and many more women discovering the magic of surfing.
