Environmental Literacy Saturday with and
Today’s Focus BIRDS 🦢🦜🦆🦅

🍃Learned about San Dieguito River Park’s History
🍃See, Notice, and Wonder before jumping into knowledge
🍃We spent time at San Dieguito River Park listening to how birds communicate.
🍃Used our journal to sound map the different bird calls.
🍃used SEEK and MERLIN apps to identify different species of plants, birds and sounds.

•Aprendimos a identificar diferentes tipos de líquenes.
Los líquenes son organismos simbióticos complejos formados por la unión de un hongo (micobionte) y un alga (fotobionte)
•Crear preguntas experimentales para medir nuestras observaciones.
Pasar del ¿Por qué? A ¿Cuántos?
•Sit Spot encontrar un lugar especial y usar nuestro sentidos e ilustrarlo en nuestro Diario de Naturaleza
•Las Cuencas (Watersheds) en el condado de San Diego y como las masas de agua están conectadas

We are taking students on a fieldtrip to 🍔tomorrow! They had to add how much they will spend on their order, and then we worked on adding the tax using multiplication.
This is not our standard, but students were excited for animal fries!
