2013 Emails Reveal More Complaints About La Jolla High Teacher - Voice of San Diego New emails shed light on the lengths San Diego Unified officials went to assess complaints about longtime La Jolla High teacher Martin Teachworth in 2013. VOSD has obtained four emails that San Diego Unified did not include in records requests regarding complaints against Teachworth.
It is with heavy heart that I must share with you that one of our own, Megan Forrester, died suddenly on Tuesday, May 9. As more information becomes available I will post it here.

Beach & Bay Press (Thursday, October 20, 2016) --"Kate Sessions has announced that P.E. teacher Lori Emerson was inducted into the La Jolla High School Coaching Hall of Fame on Friday, Oct. 14 when LJHS inaugurated their new tennis and football fields. Between 1981-1991, Emerson was the girls varsity basketball coach. During this time period, Emerson's teams won nine league titles and one CIF title. In 1986 Emerson was awarded the Coach of the Year for Southern California. La Jolla High School and Kate Sessions Elementary School are lucky to be able to call Emerson their teacher."
