Attention Everyone! SD Hacks has been delayed to April 8-10th 2022! If you would like to apply as a mentor, or apply as a participant there is still time! Link is here: https://www.sdhacks.io/.

SD Hacks 2022 will provide the support and mentorship necessary to develop innovative software projects. With mentorship coming from a variety of engineering disciplines and companies, SD Hacks 2022 is shaping up to become an unforgettable 36 hours of collaboration, empowerment, and innovation. This year, SD Hacks will be going completely virtual and bringing the hackathon to you.

The Triton Engineering Student Council (TESC) is recruiting for 2021-2022 Vice President and board positions!

TESC empowers UC San Diego engineering students by connecting them with impactful communities, projects, and career-building opportunities. We achieve this through :

Supporting 50+ engineering student organizations (TESC council)
Hosting events for engineering students (e.g., SD Hacks, Decaf career fair, etc.)
Advocating for engineering students

TESC works closely with the Jacobs School of Engineering’s staff, faculty, and students to empower engineers at UCSD. We host some of the most popular engineering events like SD Hacks and the Decaf career fair, with thousands of attendees. Joining TESC is an opportunity to make a lasting impact on the engineering community at UCSD and to gain real-world skills that set you apart.

Positions that need your talent:

Vice President of Events: Help organize TESC events by keeping event leads on track and helping them secure resources. Leads the events vertical (Professional Development, Outreach, Social, SD Hacks, and HAX).
Design Lead: Designs all forms of advertisement or publicity for marketing, sponsorship, and events (websites, flyers, posts).
Tech Lead: Manage the Tech Committee in maintaining and developing features on websites for TESC and engineering events, such as tesc.ucsd.edu, tesc.events, and sdhacks.io.
Internal Projects Lead: Developing software/hardware projects for TESC events/internal use.
Town Hall Director: Hosts town hall meetings between students and department heads.
SD Hacks Director: Responsible for planning and hosting our annual hackathon.
Anyone, regardless of major, who is interested in our mission is welcome to apply!
