The last few days have been… deeply emotional for me. Letting go of something, even when you know it’s the right thing to do, is painful. To cope I’ve begun journaling again. I used to journal a lot as a kid and have gone through phases since, until someone close to me read one of my journals and violated my trust. I didn’t realize until recently that I had stopped journaling all together after that. Subconsciously for fear that my private thoughts would again become not private.But in time of deep processing I always at one point or another turn to good old pen and paper (sorry trees)🌳

Todays prompt asked me to write a letter to myself apologizing for a “mistake” I had made in 2021. So I wrote my letter and to be expected it actually was very therapeutic. Being brutally, emotionally honest with yourself is where you rebuild from. Where you heal and grow from. But after I finished the first letter I realized something.. all of these “mistakes” brought me literally SO MANY positive things too: experiences, friendships, knowledge, laughter, pleasure, joy, healing, connection, divinity, growth, strength. And like the butterfly effect 🦋 doing one thing different would have changed the course of who knows what and some of this amazingly beautiful and healing experiences may have never happened. It’s all divinely intertwined which is just so interesting to me.

As for the new year. Im resilient and j always have been. I know it will be full of love, growth, and abundance (and maybe some mistakes too) but the good is still far out weighing the bad in my book. 💗 xx Alicia

Found these images in FB and shared them there but I thought they were a great visual the various love languages. If you don’t know your own love language as well as the love language of those in your immediate life (partner, children, even close friends) I highly recommend figuring it out. There are great books on the subject however you can take an online quiz (way faster then reading a book for those not interested in a time commitment) and the test will rank your love languages. Ask the others in your life to do it as well and with that information you can begin to show affection to those closest to you in the way THEY receive love. It’s important to understand that how YOU feel loved is NOT necessarily how your the other person feels love and we all deserve to have our cups filled in the way WE need. This tiny effort really can go along way to preserving and strengthening the bonds you have. The book is amazing an highly recommend but these slides are a good start! 💗💗💗💗

A few days ago I channeled a message for a friend of mine. It was a short but beautiful message which resonated with her and we both left the session feeling grateful and satisfied with the experience. I honestly haven’t thought much of what her guides shared with us until this morning, while drinking my morning coffee, and I got this intense inner knowing, nudging me to share as there were others meant to benefit from the words as well.

I’m not sure who is meant to receive this.

There’s no pressure to comment if it resonates (though I’d love to know if you’d like to share!)

I’m confident this will find exactly who it’s meant to.

YOU are such a naturally high frequency being and this at times creates a resistance within others towards you. It’s like unconsciously they can feel the frequency between themselves and you is so wide… and rather then answering the calling and rise themselves a little higher through shedding their own layers… they pull away and even sometimes attempt to dim your light… thinking it will make theirs brighter…

This is not rejection. You are a catalyst for so many. For each person who fears your light there is another who awakens a little more because of it.

As much as you may want to shrink down in order to maintain these connections… Dimming your light is a betrayal of the soul.

Thinking you must shine LESS is a disservice to your mission here on Earth at this time and a disservice to the THOUSANDS of other souls here that you inspire simply by *existing*.

We need you to continue to show up bright, loud, passionate, excited to be alive at this time.

YOU anchor in the light.

You lead the way… embodying both the light and darkness… through fierce playful warrior-like love.

You are not an outcast. You are not too sensitive or naive. You are the gateway to 💗🌎

Emotions must be felt to be cleared.

This is why unexpressed emotion are literally [ d a n g e r o u s ].

Until we clear emotion wounds our ascension process is limited.

First it hurts. Then it changes you.🦋

My inner being chooses to view disruption as happening FOR ME rather than TO ME and I am so grateful to be at a point in my own life where, even in the depths, I truly feel a sense of peace because I believe whole heartedly everything is working out in my favor. 🧡🏵
