Ever wonder what it’s like to raise a bilingual child when your French vocabulary maxed at “bonjour”? 🌍
At San Diego French-American School, kids start French as early as 18 months and grow up fluent, curious, and ready for the world. Perched on Mount Soledad in La Jolla, this isn’t just a language program, it’s a whole different way of raising a global kid.
And now it’s even easier to get there. Their new bus route serves families in Encinitas, Del Mar, and Sabre Springs. 🚌
P.S. For parents wondering, “How can I enroll my child if I don’t speak the language?”, you’re not alone. Over ⅓ of SDFAS students speak only English at home, and those children are thriving at school. It’s proof that a family doesn’t need to speak French to give their child all the benefits that come with being bilingual in today’s world.
It’s not too late to enroll for this year! Inquire or book a private tour at the link in our bio. 🇫🇷🇺🇸

Learning a new language is about so much more than communication. It's an investment in your brain for life! 🌍🧠
Research continues to highlight the remarkable benefits of multilingualism, from strengthening cognitive flexibility and problem-solving skills to supporting lifelong learning. A recent study even found that people who speak multiple languages may have brains that appear up to 13 years younger than their chronological age, with the greatest benefits associated with early and sustained language learning. ✨
At San Diego French-American School, we see these benefits every day as our students grow into confident, curious, and globally minded learners.

Our first week of summer camp is off to a fantastic start, and our Marine Biology campers are already diving into exciting scientific discoveries. Each morning, campers participate in engaging experiments in our Middle School science lab, investigating marine science concepts through observation and experimentation. In the afternoons, they take their learning beyond the classroom with field trips that bring nature and marine biology to life, connecting their lab experiments to real-world environments and experiences.
