We wish all of our parents and students a very Happy New Year! As we enter 2026, we reflect on our past accomplishments and look forward to the new goals, new successes, new experiences, new friendships, new memories, and especially all the new smiles that will appear on our students’ faces with every new accomplishment that brings a joyful feeling of confidence in learning and growing in both music and academics.
2026 is a New Year to complete new goals with the same or better determination as before. Let’s learn from yesterday, live for today, and hope for tomorrow!

As a reminder the last day of classes/tutoring is Dec 19th. Our holiday break is from Dec 22nd through Jan 2nd.

Basurto Music & Academics end of school year teacher appreciation lunch. We have exceptional music teachers and tutors who genuinely care about our students and families. We are incredibly thankful for their commitment, patience, and confidence-building approach towards all of our students. Their natural ability to meet each student at their individual academic and musical level ensures effective lessons that foster success in both music and academics. We wish everyone a happy summer and look forward to the next school year starting in the fall of 2025/2026.

🌸2025 Spring Music Recital🌸

We are so proud of our students! Their hard work, daily practice, regular attendance to music lessons, and their love of music all came together today as they each performed, showing much skill on their instrument. Each performance was pleasantly enjoyable and brought so many happy smiles to all in attendance. Thank you all for your participation in the 2025 spring music recital at Basurto Music & Academics.

HAPPY VALENTINE’S DAY💗 I really do have the best students! I love teaching every single one of you. I am blessed to be able to befriend my students and their families. Thank you for all the thoughtful gifts, cards, flowers, and Valentine’s Day wishes. I receive them warmly and appreciate each and every one of you so much!

It is a rainy day here in SoCal, which is a perfect day to explain and practice some Algebra 1. Teacher Bella is happily and gently explaining an important concept to her student. We are in semester two of our one-on-one classes, covering the entire curriculum throughout the school year. Our student here will complete the Algebra book by the time the school year ends, and he is doing an excellent job at understanding and completing his work each week. 👏🏼
