🏉 FROM LA HABRA TO IRELAND! 🏉🇮🇪

What an incredible summer experience for La Habra High School Flag Football standout Kylie Agnew! 💙

Kylie recently traveled to Ireland with the Eagle Impact Rugby Academy (EIRA) for an unforgettable two-week experience, training and competing against teams representing all four provinces of Ireland: Munster, Connacht, Ulster, and Leinster.

Competing on the U18 squad, Kylie’s hard work and talent earned her an even bigger honor—she was selected to the Elite Team, a roster of just 28 girls, to compete against Leinster, regarded as the top province in the competition.

From representing La Habra on the international stage to competing against some of the best young athletes in Ireland, this was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience for Kylie. 🌎🏉

We are incredibly proud of Kylie for representing herself, her family, La Habra High School, and Highlander Nation with excellence!

Way to go, Kylie! 💙

Today we celebrate the spirit of freedom, community, and the opportunities that bring us together. We hope our Highlander family enjoys a safe, fun, and memorable Independence Day with friends and loved ones.

🥎🏆 STATE CHAMPIONSHIP BOUND! 🏆🥎
History is being made for La Habra Softball!
For the first time in the 71-year history of La Habra High School Softball, our Lady Highlanders are headed to the CIF State Regional Championship as they travel to San Diego to take on Mater Dei Catholic of Chula Vista this Saturday.
This incredible group of young women has already made history, but they're not finished yet. They are ready to compete for the opportunity to bring home the first-ever State Championship in program history!
We need Highlander Nation behind us! If you can, make the trip to San Diego and help us fill the stands with Blue and White as our girls chase history.

💙🥎 STATE FINALS BOUND! 🥎💙
For the first time in school history, the Highlanders are headed to the CIF State Championship after an incredible Regional Semifinal victory!
With the game on the line in the bottom of the 7th, Milee Valencia delivered the biggest hit of the season, driving in two runs to walk it off and send us to the State Finals!
Offensively, the Highlanders were fueled by:
💥 Alyssa Hernandez — 3-run home run
💥 Makenna Caffrey — 2-run double
💥 Mimi Gonzalez — solo home run
And a huge performance in the circle from Samantha Cervantes, who gave us 5 strong innings of relief to help secure the win.
This team continues to make history, and the journey isn't over yet. Next stop: San Diego, where we'll take on Mater Dei Catholic this Saturday for the CIF State Championship!
What a ride. One more game. Let's finish it together.

🌟 Celebrating an Incredible Spring Sports Season! 🌟
What a remarkable spring for our student-athletes! We are proud to recognize the outstanding accomplishments of our spring sports programs and the dedication, perseverance, and excellence they demonstrated throughout the season.
🏊 Swimming
Our girls and boys swim teams were represented at the CIF Division 4 Finals by Nataly Agnew, Kelly Kaufman, and Garrett Carty, competing in multiple events and showcasing the strength of our program on one of the biggest stages of the season.
🤿 Diving
Congratulations to Dylan Jasso and Eric Lopez on qualifying for the State Championships! We also celebrate Siena Verdugo, who earned an impressive 4th-place finish overall in CIF-SS, highlighting another outstanding year for our diving program.
⛳ Boys Golf
A special congratulations to Justin Shackelford, who captured a league championship and finished an outstanding 26th out of 131 golfers at the CIF Championships.
🥎 Softball
Our softball team continued to make history this season. Led by seniors Georgia Rickenbacker, Madison Payne, and Maraya Salas, the team won the Crestview League Championship, advanced to the CIF Division 1 Semifinals for the first time in school history, and is still competing in the CIF State Playoffs!
We are incredibly proud of all of our spring sports athletes, coaches, and families. Thank you for representing our school with excellence, sportsmanship, and pride. Congratulations on a season filled with unforgettable achievements—we can't wait to see what's next!

The road to a State Championship runs through La Habra! 🥎💙

Congratulations to our La Habra Softball team on earning the #2 Overall Seed in the CIF State Division 1 Softball Championships! 👏🔥

The Highlanders will host a 1st Round State Playoff game this Tuesday at 4:00 PM against Bonita High School (La Verne). We need Highlander Nation out in full force to pack the stands and bring the energy! 💪🔥
