"There's No Place Like The Hive"

Our story begins with 2 sisters who share a LOVE for children. Brooke & Brittany felt compelled to open a child care center that has a focus on everyone feeling as part of the family. Brittany, (aka BB or Aunt B) has a bachelor degree in elementary education & spent the last 7 years as a nanny specializing in caring for multiples. Prior to establishing The B Hive

, she was a nanny to FIVE toddlers (twins & triplets)! Brittany is also a mom to Lyla & Luca

Brooke has several years of child care experience with Oldham County Schools, plus a background in business / marketing. We believe being able to care, love, & nurture a child is the best thing in the world. We decided to take this passion and turn it into a reality. Welcome to The B Hive!

Our employee of the month for September is Ms. Destiny! Many families at the hive have had the pleasure of having Ms. Destiny with their children over the years. Destiny is a dedicated mom to 5, a loving wife and a nurturing, dependable teacher! You can always hear her signature laugh echo throughout the building as she brings humor and comfort to each day. Today was a Professional Development Day at The Hive!

Our queen bees were busy this morning learning all about the new curriculum we’ll be implementing as we kick off our new school year on August 24th!

After learning, we rolled up our sleeves and gave each classroom some serious organization and a deep clean to get everything fresh & ready for our little bees! 🐝

Tonight is a BIG one as they are playing for a spot in the Little League World Series! 🏆
The B Hive is cheering extra loud for this incredible group of young athletes! We’ve been proud to support North Oldham Little League year after year, and watching these boys represent our community on this big stage is something so special. 💙⚾️
And we have an extra special reason to cheer… one of our very own B Hive alumni, Easton, is on the team and taking the mound! 🥹🐝⚾️ We are so proud of you E and your entire team!!

Our staff voted employee of the month for August is Ms. Brittany! You can find Brittany in our non-mobile infant room, loving and caring for multiple infants during their earliest days at The Hive! (And rearranging her classroom often to meet everyone’s needs 😝) She’s also a mother to two sweet girls who attend as well. We are grateful for Brittany and her infant expertise!
