La Grange FFA is well represented at ALC having

Phalyn is serving in her position as an Area XI Vice President and Mille is there serving in her role as District Sentinel. She is soaking up all the good stuff to bring back to the Horizon District later in the summer at DLC!

Tomorrow is the last day to turn in thank you notes and record books are due by June 1st! Make sure you get those turned in if you haven’t already.

FCJLS exhibitors the deadline for thank you cards and record books are quickly approaching. If you exhibited under 4H you need to complete the 4H record book. If under FFA you should have that completed in AET already. Thank you cards can be turned in to Ms. Bishop or the extension office. Make sure they get turned in UNSEALED but addressed and stamped and ready to go. Do not mail them yourself.

La Grange FFA made the trek to Blinn College today for Area convention. We heard area and state officer candidate speeches, listened to 7 of the most talented members area XI has to offer, and watched this years officer team hang up their jackets and pass the reins to the next set.

We are proud to announce one of our very own is one of Area XI’s newest leaders!! Way to go Phalyn!!!

We are so excited to announce that Phalyn has advanced to the next phase of Area Officer elections. Next Friday she will give her speech in front of all of Area XI and we will find out what position she gets!

These two ladies are taking steps to further their leadership careers by running for area officer. They have taken a test, completed a resume and filled out an application. Today they are in Schulenburg, participating in round robin style interviews.
