The Outdoor Adventure Program is seeking your support in its efforts to provide quality outdoor programming for our young people and broader community.
Over 5,000 people participate or are supported by our programming each year. We host dozens of schools, non-profit organizations, scout troops, and church groups at our Climbing Center. We provide programming support for afterschool programs for middle schoolers like GO-ASAP in Baker City and La Grande. In the summer the OAP offers kids summer adventure camps for 6-12 year olds. EOU students receive free equipment rentals and access to our Climbing Center. Our program supports dozens of outdoor activity courses that are open to community members.
Our goal is to promote health and wellness at EOU and in our community. We strive to build strong social support networks on campus and beyond that are critical to academic success. Our program opens up new possibilities for skill development, personal growth, increased self-confidence, and teamwork mindset.
Help support our efforts by donating to the OAP, as an individual, or as a business sponsor. We have different sponsorship tiers that include having your company logo displayed on large 10’x6’ banners in our Climbing Center. Individual donors meeting a certain contribution level can also be recognized on our banners. We accept donations on our website at www.eou.edu/outdoor.
