Our first year students have been putting in a lot of hard work this first summer but they're still finding time for fun! They celebrated national hot dog day and had an ice cream party.

We’re proud to share that one of our second-years, Jacob Parent, has qualified for the USATF Outdoor National Championships—the premier track and field meet in the United States, where the fastest American athletes come together to compete at the highest level.

Earning a spot at this meet requires hitting an elite qualifying standard, placing Jacob among the top 400m runners in the nation. This Friday, July 24th, he’ll line up against the best in the country in the 400 meters, representing not only his hard work and dedication, but our entire program.

Our next student spotlight is 2YS Kaden Krueger!!

Hometown: Appleton, WI

Hobbies: Hanging out with my friends and family, watching sports, and playing pickleball and volleyball.

Why UWL: I really loved UWL's campus and how many clinical experiences are offered throughout the curriculum. UWL has been known for having such an amazing PT program, and I have been absolutely loving my time in the program.

Favorite PT Class: My favorite class so far has been Therapeutic Exercise & Manual Therapy. It has been a lot of fun starting to put my foundation knowledge into skills I will use as a future physical therapist.

Favorite PT memory: My favorite memory(s) in PT school has been all of the times our cohort has gotten together for events and group hangouts!
