The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Medical Dosimetry Program invites applicants for a full-time annual year appointment as a Clinical Coordinator to start as soon as possible. The Medical Dosimetry Program offers a Master of Science degree in Medical Dosimetry, is accredited by the JRCERT, has excellent MDCB pass rates, and enjoys exceptional teaching and clinical internship facilities. The program is part of the College of Science and Health, located in the Health Professions Department which also includes the Diagnostic Medical Sonography, Nuclear Medicine Technology, Occupational Therapy, Physician Assistant, Physical Therapy, Radiation Therapy, and Radiologic Technology Programs.
The primary responsibility of this position is to teach online and coordinate clinical internship sites for the Medical Dosimetry Program. Candidates with a master’s degree will be considered for an instructional academic staff appointment. Applicants must be certified as a medical dosimetrist and are expected to have a minimum of two years’ experience as a clinical certified medical dosimetrist, ability to provide leadership, excellent interpersonal and written communication skills, ability to work in a team environment, be able to function independently with minimal supervision, be a self-directed learner, and demonstrate professional behavior. Applicants with a master’s degree, previous teaching experience, previous experience with online education, and skills in computer and internet applications are preferred.
While periodic visits to the UW-L campus and clinical internship sites are expected, relocation to La Crosse is not required.
