At Viterbo University, your education is personal, purposeful, and rooted in values that last a lifetime. Located in beautiful La Crosse, Wisconsin, we offer a close-knit, mission-driven campus where students are known by name and supported every step of the way. Guided by our Catholic and Franciscan heritage, we believe in whole-person development—educating students not just for a career, but for a life of impact. Whether you’re pursuing the arts, sciences, healthcare, education, or business, you’ll find hands-on learning, small classes, and a community that helps you grow in mind, body, and spirit. Additionally, we offer a vibrant student life experience with opportunities in NAIA athletics, music, writing, the arts, leadership, and a variety of student clubs and organizations. Because at Viterbo, it’s not just about earning a degree—it’s about discovering who you’re meant to be.

👑 There’s something pretty special about seeing two Miss Wisconsins back where their Viterbo stories began.

Miss Wisconsin 2026 Jordenne Butler ’20 and Miss Wisconsin 2009 Kristina Smaby Schoh ’10 returned to campus this week, reconnecting with the university and sharing their experiences with the next generation of V-Hawks.

Jordenne, a Viterbo marketing graduate and former member of the Viterbo Dance Team, and Kristina, a business management graduate, met with a prospective family during a campus visit, spoke with students in John Neumann’s marketing class and joined Emily Crater’s tap dance class, where they even showed off a few steps.

From Viterbo students to Miss Wisconsin, and back to Viterbo again. We love seeing where a V-Hawk education can take you. 💙

Welcome home, Jordenne and Kristina! 👑

Welcome Home, V-Hawks!

Move-In Day at Viterbo is always one of our favorite traditions. Our entire campus community—faculty, staff, administration, student-athletes, and alumni—came together today to welcome the newest members of the V-Hawk family.

While it’s a day full of big changes and emotional goodbyes, it showcases what makes our community so special: we always show up for each other and support the flock.

Welcome to campus, Class of 2030! We are so glad you’re here. ❤️💙

It’s been a highly educational and career prospects-enhancing summer for Viterbo student Nathan Arias, thanks to an internship with Multistack, LLC. The opportunity was the perfect fit for Arias, a computer science major with a lifelong interest in technology.

“I have learned a ton about the HVAC industry through the internship,” said Arias. “This will definitely help me in the future as it gave me some experience in the real world that can help guide me into whatever field or career path I plan to pursue after college.”

Experiences like Nathan’s internship give Viterbo students the opportunity to apply what they’re learning in the classroom while gaining valuable experience in their field.
