Yesterday was AOTA’s National Backpack Awareness Day! 🎒

Did you know that your backpack should be no more than 10% of your body weight? Many students pack their backpacks much heavier and often wear it improperly putting them at risk for future back pain or complications.

Yesterday students had the opportunity to weigh their backpacks and enter a drawing for a chance to win a free backpack! Congrats to our 1st year OT and 2nd year PT student winners! 🤩
