La Crosse Area Music Teachers Association

La Crosse Area Music Teachers Association Professional private instruction to music students of all ages. Affiliated with MTNA and WMTA.

LAMTA was formed in 1980 as a means to provide area music teachers with ways to meet and communicate with each other. LAMTA is affiliated with the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association (WMTA) and the Music Teachers National Association (MTNA). Through meetings, workshops, conventions, master classes, and various other events, teachers continue learning for the benefit of their students. Students of

LAMTA members are eligible to participate in performances, competitions, and educational opportunities not available to students of non-members. Membership in LAMTA, WMTA, and MTNA benefits teachers, students, and the La Crosse area arts community.
