October Menasha Employee Spotlight: Brittany! 🌟

Join us in celebrating Brittany, one of our dedicated Direct Support Professionals at Chileda's Menasha Learning Center!

Since joining the Chileda team, Brittany has enjoyed getting to know each student and their unique personalities, strengths, and challenges. She approaches each day knowing that every child is different and strives to meet students where they are.

One of the most rewarding parts of her role has been watching students learn to self-advocate while building important life skills. Brittany also enjoys learning new ways to communicate with students using AAC devices, visual supports, and sign language, helping every child find their voice.

Thank you, Brittany, for helping our students learn, grow, and thrive!

🍧 Yesterday was a sweet day at our Menasha Campus!

Our students and staff enjoyed Kona Ice and spent time together outside in the beautiful 70-degree October weather. We also celebrated a special birthday, giving everyone a chance to gather, enjoy a cool treat, and make the most of a sunny fall afternoon.

🎡🎠 What a day! Last Thursday, 48 Chileda students and staff spent the afternoon at the Oktoberfest - La Crosse, WI Special Festers Carnival, enjoying rides, games, great food, and lots of smiles. Special Festers is always a highlight of the year and a chance for our students to be part of one of La Crosse's favorite traditions. 🎡 The wait is over, Special Festers Carnival Day is here!

One of our favorite Oktoberfest traditions has arrived, and we're kicking things off with a look back at last year's fun. Every year, the Oktoberfest - La Crosse, WI Special Festers Carnival brings plenty of smiles, laughter, and moments our students talk about long after the day is over.

Our graduate has officially completed this chapter of his journey, and we couldn't be prouder. It has been a privilege to watch him learn, grow, and work toward this incredible achievement.
