Can online-delivered pain neuroscience education (PNE) change fear-avoidance beliefs or functional performance in young adults with knee pain? This pilot study of 19 participants found online PNE was feasible and well received, but showed no significant impact on FABQ or Y-Balance Test scores. The authors use these findings to lay groundwork for future, adequately powered research โ€” estimating a sample size of 128 would be needed to fully assess PNE's effect.
