Thank you for all the support and encouragement during this campaign. Even though we came up short I appreciate everyone who voted for me. Thank you for reading and sharing my posts, for putting up yard signs, and for your prayers. It has been an honor to serve this community and the students of our district for the past 20 years. I am so delighted and appreciative of all the support and encouragement I have received during this School Board race. Many of you have reminded me I've run a good campaign and that I've got this. I have knocked on numerous doors, did the media interviews and put up plenty of yard signs. But yard signs cannot vote - only you can do that. Since all the candidates in the race have worked hard, nothing should be taken for granted.

I really need your votes tomorrow on Election Day Tuesday April 7th. A small number of total voters could skew the results so your vote is vitally important! Call, text, email, telegraph or send a message by carrier pigeon to all your friends, family and neighbors and tell them to get out and vote. As a reminder people can vote for up to 3 candidates for School Board but if you prefer, you could just vote for one or two candidates. Just remember to go and Vote!

I would be honored to continue to serve you as your School Board member. Thank you so much for all your support and more importantly thank you for your vote!

Election Day is only 4 days away! If there is low turnout this election, your vote will be even more important to keep me on the School Board. Get out to vote Tuesday April 7th and remind your neighbors and friends to do the same!

If you vote early at La Crosse City Hall they have a drive-up option in the Handicap parking area for individuals who might have difficulty getting into the building. So for those of you that could use this service, get to City Hall Thursday or Friday as those are the last 2 days of early voting. They are open 8:30 - 4 Thursday and 8:30 - 5 Friday.

Election Day April 7th is only 2 weeks away! Make sure you get out and vote. Since too often things come up and life happens, it is a good idea to vote early to make sure your vote counts. The good intentions of coulda, shoulda or woulda do not help in an election. So plan ahead and vote early!

Today is the start of early in-person voting. Here is the schedule for early voting in the City. Those living in townships can contact your town clerk for early voting times. City and town clerks can also mail you an absentee ballot.

Three years ago, I promised if elected as School Board member I would work to help the Board engage with the community and give the public a voice, I would work to strengthen Board policies to be more transparent and properly align proper authority to the Board and I would focus on the needs of all students. I am proud to say that I have kept my promise. Since that time the Board had numerous community listening sessions, policies have been improved to make sure that agendas include input from all board members, workshops have been video recorded to improve transparency, and student progress has improved. But there is still a great deal of work to do see greater progress for our students and keep engaging with our community. That is why I am again running for another term as School Board member.

I am asking for your support and your vote. To get on the ballot, I need to collect signatures from the voting public. If you are interested in adding your signature to my nomination papers, please let me know. I need to finish gathering signatures this week so I appreciate your help.
