Crescenta Vallley Basketball is led by Varsity Coach Shawn Zagarian. Coach Z as he is affectionately known, forges strong bonds with his players, keeps those relationships, and provides the vision for the strength of the Falcon program. As a coach, he has guided or assisted on teams that earned numerous tournament championships as well as league crowns at every level. Over the last three years he

has piloted the Varsity to a 69-23 record, including reaching the 1A semi-finals and quarter finals and a berth in the State Tournament for the last 2 years. Shawn has taught at CV for twelve years and is a member of the science department. He earned his Master's Degree in Education and Technology from Point Loma Nazarene University in 2004.
